Whoa!!

 Did you notice what happened in my last blog post?! You guys got to see how my brain works in real time!

I was asked a question that brought up something really violent that happened to me. I had put it in a box but a few weeks ago it came on out with tap shoes and when I was asked the question about the medicine that does that (intentionally to help me deal with boxed up stuff that I might not remember but your body remembers and it can be the reason why you have certain “triggers” or responses to certain things so it gently releases the memories and you don’t experience it like you’re still there. It’s supposed to be like looking through a window. Sometimes it’s rougher than usual but still… ) Anyway, I was supposed to be answering another question but my brain put that memory back into a box real quick which put me on a different train track and boom! I adjusted and went on to something else, even though I numbered it as if to answer the next question! How fucking efficient is that?! Our brains are wired to get us out of tough things so we can deal another time. This medicine is for PTSD and also given asap to rape victims to help dull the memory to help people deal with trauma in their own time.

Seeing that happen right in the middle of my post was amazing. I didn’t notice until the next day. Wow. I love that about me. My favorite attribute is that my brain has my six. Yours does too if you allow it to do its job. I don’t mean like that time you broke a bone, ya know? But like serious abuse. I’m a two semester psychiatrist so you can trust me on this one!

We went out to dinner tonight and the ONLY time I drink caffeine is if we’re at dinner. I order unsweetened iced tea… I know! I see you southerners in the back! You just called me a sinner, crossed yourself and texted your prayer chain!! UNsweatened iced tea!? Lord, Jesus! Then we went to Dutch Bro’s to get a coffee…. Decaf!! But the barista slipped me a Mickey and forgot. So for those of you keeping track, that’s TWO caffeinated beverages. Now I’m as high as a kite. Caffeine is for real Y’all! It’s like cocaine without the fun. Just the chattering my head off! Which is why I’m here right now!!! Everyone else is tired of listening to me.

Yesterday we got a notice that our electricity would be off between 1-5 am, they installed 50 charging stations… anyway, here’s where I do a PSA and take one for the team….. I went to bed at 2:30am….. I have an electric recliner. Guess what? You can’t get out if your chair! At first I was all… wtf? Then I realized the deal and I had to rock back and forth, in the chair until I tipped it and then slid out of it. Necessity is the mother of invention!

One more thing…. THE POOLS ARE OPEN!!!!! And the water is warm enough to swim!!!! Hallelujah!!!

Hey.

 So, hopefully most of  everyone got my email. If not, I’m starting from scratch. Hi. It’s been a minute! Like, I’m a year older. There’s so much to catch up on that I don’t know where to start….  Let’s get this out of the way. No, I have not spoken with my children. OM got divorced. Instead of going back to her maiden name she made up a last name based on a…. Wait for it…. Disney move. Went to court and now that’s her last name. So, that was a little jarring. I got that news from Joshua while I was getting my nails done. Fun! I actually did speak to ym for a hot minute last month. My car was totaled by a hail storm. We still had it at her house in a different city so we did have to have contact. That went fine but no movement forward. So, ya. That’s that. CHICKS CANT HOLD THEIR SMOKE

 That’s what it is…. Got high last night. I rarely… I mean RARELY have anything to do with weed, certainly don’t smoke it. But, it’s a long story that probably shouldn’t be told and I got high. Here’s what I discovered. If you have the Disney + app you can watch short little videos where you’re “on” the ride….. RIGHT! Best combination ever!!!!!
