 1) what is your favorite color?

My favorite color is something that changes. I’m not the kind of person that has always loved blue. My current favorite color is a weird one… Brown. I don’t know what the deal is but I’m obsessed. 

2) where are you going to in Colorado and where will you be staying? IE hotel, cabin, Airbnb, etc..

We will be in Denver.Hotel. We were going to stay where we stayed before but because I’m pissy occasionally, I refused to pay nearly $100 for parking everyday for a week. No, Ma’am! What the actual fuck?

So I checked out their sister property, same 4.5 star rating, restaurant on property, coffee bar etc… I LOVE the little stores too! Anyway, this one has an indoor pool too but it’s so fucking cool. Plus they have really cool other features that I’m not going to get into or why the pool is so good because I know you little creepers will go on a stalking expedition! Just trust, it’s good and the parking… omg. I can’t handle the parking.. $66 per night. Like, what? It is valet but still, what?? You know the valet doesn’t get that money AND then there’s the tip. I’d feel better about it if the valet was getting it. Seriously. What a rip off.

3) How is your friend?

Ugh. She came off of life support and now she’s back on. She’s going to be flown to San Francisco for her donated lungs if she can hold on. I send her messages everyday because her daughter says that sometimes she wakes up and she reads the messages to her. She’s very loved and hundreds of people have sent her messages. She’s a bright light. Thank you for asking 

4) hey! I live in Spokane and I remember that drive-in theater by 5 mile. I think we’re the same age. Maybe we were there at the same time! I bet you were cute.

I was the curly dark haired girly with hazel eyes and probably jeans and a tube top. You know, like a lot of other late 70’s early 80’s girls! Or short shorts, band t/shirt cut off just under my bra…Could have been them too. Rebellious look in her eye, freckles, rosebud lips. Smoking probably. Sweeter than I let on. Softer than I portrayed even a lot more shy than the “ I got this, don’t fuck with me, rocker chick!” Version I wore on the outside. I love her.

I’m bummed that Halloween season is coming to an end. We’re sending it off in style dressing up as a witch, a vampire and a wizard going to our favorite restaurant that has the coolest bar and they’re having a party. Full witch glam for me. Uh! I’m excited! 

Then the Christmas tree goes up! šŸ¤ŖšŸ˜šŸ˜Š 

We have a surprise for mi-ya and Josh on Christmas evening. Josh was bummed that we weren’t going to The Gaylord for dinner like we always do so I used my big brain to google “ Does Denver have a Gaylord?”

They do!!!!! Hell ya!! 

Mi-ya loves it there too. All I told her was that she has two choices for dressing that day. Fancy dress or full blown Christmas, well, or a combo of the two. Either is acceptable!

My blood sugar is getting under control. Shhhhh, don’t tell it. That makes me feel A LOT better.

Update on my last post!

 We survived the ice storm of 2026! In fact, it was beautiful! Soooo cold! Which I love!! Lovely lovely tap snuggly and warm and time stops here during a winter storm. Everything is closed and if you’ve lived here you know that if a storm is predicted you had better go to a store and fight for things to keep you fed, watered, well taken care of, because this place goes fucking nut job! I loved the closed down thing. We live off a major freeway that I rarely hear… I thought… but with no cars driving, all the shops on the island closed, no restaurants…. The quiet was like brain floss. I’d open my balcony door a tiny bit, open all the blinds so I could see the snow wherever I was and burry myself in jewelry making. How was it?

 How was your Christmas? My Christmas Eve was spent in bed, sick AF! Has to cancel church and dinner. Cool. Did go to the Gaylord though which was beautiful as always. Day after Christmas, sick again, like WTF? Yesterday we went to look at Christmas lights and that was nice, then to In-N-Out. Classy. We opened gifts starting at 10:30 pm Christmas night after a tragic, and I do mean tragic, event happened…. My son knocked over a case of my beads and it Burst open. Like, 3,000 beads. And they went EVERYWHERE! Loved it!  I accidentally mailed three gifts to Robb and I only noticed because the husband and son were short gifts so I tore through everywhere I could have hid them for whatever reason I might have had and instead…. I found Robb and his daughter’s gifts. Loved that!!! I had to call Robb and be all…. Dude! You know that $100 I spent on mailing you guys your gifts? Well I have to send you $100 to mail them back and then I get to pay $100 to send you your gifts! I love that...

CHICKS CANT HOLD THEIR SMOKE

 That’s what it is…. Got high last night. I rarely… I mean RARELY have anything to do with weed, certainly don’t smoke it. But, it’s a long story that probably shouldn’t be told and I got high. Here’s what I discovered. If you have the Disney + app you can watch short little videos where you’re “on” the ride….. RIGHT! Best combination ever!!!!! I hit Disneyland and Disney world HARD.  One time , YEARS ago I had to watch the weather channel to calm me down, see the reason I don’t hardly ever mess with weed is that unless I have someone to talk with or something to take my mind off stuff, well, I want to call the cops on myself. Ya. When I was a teenager I tried to open the truck door whilst my boyfriend was driving. Had sex while high once or twice and they go together. Twisting tricks…..
