Brainless…

 Today is just gonna be brainless chit chat. 

I promised that I’d talk about my perfumes. Now, I don’t have a ton but I have a good start 😉

I started loving perfumes about 18 months ago, maybe. I go through fazes of things and it’s been perfume… uh, and shoes. Just make it stop!

Here’s what I have :

1) Juliette Has A Gun Not A Perfume: it’s so soft and beautiful! If you’re looking for something that throws off a lot of scent this wouldn’t be it. To me it’s like more for the wearer. It’s so good it will make you just want to smell yourself.

2) Imaginary Authors: Cape Heartache. It’s very “pine” scented which I though I might had but it warms down into a really beautiful sent that I actually combine with..

3) Imaginary Authors: How To Say Bicycle In French. This is so good so soft and endearing and when mixed with Cape it smells like a brisk winters day and powder. It’s hard to explain but I literally go around smelling my wrists when I wear it. In fact, I like to spray my pillow with them at night. 

4)Baccarat Rouge: This is really pricey!!!! so it’s used when I want to feel extra special and with 2 little sprays you’re good to go all day. This throws off the scent in all its glory and you WILL get compliments! 

5) Alt. Chrystal No. 23…. It’s a dupe of the Bacc and no one knows the difference and for $500 less, that’s amazing. I love it and wear it all the time. Always gets compliments and throws off really well. 

6)Burberry HER. My God I love this. It’s in the Bacc family but has a bit more of a powdery-ness to it. It’s gentle but lets them know it’s you that smells that good.

7) Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue: I’ve worn this for years and I feel like it’s a late spring/ summer scent. In nearly all polls taken this ranks as men’s favorite perfume on women. It’s breezy and smells like you’re walking along a beach in all the best ways. 

8)Jo Malone : Wild Bluebell. Not gonna lie, Jo perfumes don’t seem to throw and they don’t last long. This is definitely a fall scent but because it doesn’t last I don’t want to carry the bottle to keep spritzing so I don’t wear it often.

9)Jo Malone : Jasmin sambac and marigold cologne intense: like I said, I find that Jo doesn’t last very long but this deep rich scent does stay the best of them that I’ve tried. It does bring the feelings of marigolds, lush, deep and gorgeous. The throw is ok at first but then it wavers. I love the scent though and often put a spritz on my neck before bed.

10) You by Glossier. It’s meant to smell different on every user. It’s light and floral but not that icky headache floral. It’s clean and bright. I love it… it lasts for about two hours, so not long but for this I carry a purse size to freshen up the scent.

11) Alien by Terry Mugler. This scent knocks your socks off. It’s sting so use lightly. It’s a deep floral but not the migraine kind. It’s mysterious and wicked. Throws off very well so a little goes a long way. Gorgeous bottle too!

12) Jo Malone orange blossom… this scent is so dead on that you’ll feel like you’re surrounded by orange blossoms. I adore it! But! It’s not worth the price because it disappears, in my opinion, within seconds. You’d have to have someone right up in your neck to smell it. I use it instead as the world’s most expensive air freshener with a couple of spritzes in my room occasionally. It is gorgeous though.

13) La Vie Est Belle by Lancôme. This will become a favorite. It’s soft yet throws to the Gods. It’s floral in a good way with a deep warm smell. This is my new favorite, even over the Baccarat! You’ll still smell it the next day! Beautiful.

14) Gucci Flora Gorgeous Jasmine. Deep, warm, fall/winter scent that throws really well!!! I really like clean smelling perfume but this is a sexy deep floral that envelopes you. It lasts for probably 3 hours.

15) nearly all the Sol de Jeneiro scents. These can be used as body sprays or to add scent to your hair and they are lovely . I like to use these after a shower or even when I’m going out and feel like something different. They play well with others so easy to build even on your perfumes. 

So, there you go. Not a massive amount but like I said, a good start. 

Song!!! This song gets ya in the feels and I picture the bar I used to work at filled with all the people I’ve lost and I love the idea of it. You MUST listen. Tell me you don’t get a tear in your eye!
