Here goes it again…

  I hope you read all the things that Christians stole from Pagans. It’s an important part of my crisis.

Next: finding out that literally thousands of religions, current and ancient have a “ flood” story in them. What confused me were the religions that were thousand of years older than Christianity had not only a flood story but also a VIRGIN BIRTH story. So, ok, that many religious agree on a flood story, just not necessarily in the same time frame. Even science has discovered proof of a massive flood. So, I’m good with that…. But the virgin birth story seems a little…. Odd. It’s not like they are all talking about Mary, but someone representing their religion.

So just a few are Christianity and Islam. But also  Hinduism, ancient Egyptians,   Greek mythology, Aztec Mythology,Mongolian legends,  Native American traditions and Japanese folklore and that’s literally just a few out of hundreds.

So I wondered…. Was that stolen from ancient religions? Worshipping Mary… Pagan practice of worshipping women and their power to bring life from wherever it comes from across the veil into this earth?

My questions met with dead eyes. The only REAL virgin birth is Christ… ok, but others believed in it long before Christianity…. So… explain that? Crickets and being accused of not being faithful. The devil tricks us into wondering these things…. Um, no, critical thinking makes one ask these unanswered and ignored questions dare one dip a toe into… WHAT THE FUCK?

Christianity, which was not a thing while Jesus was actually alive, has been violent from the get go. Traveling the world and forcing Jews, pagans, Islam, native peoples, the barely reachable corners of the earth. Convert or die. The crusades! Trying to crush anyone who wouldn’t worship Christ. Does that sound like the loving God and Christ who loves all the children red and yellow, black and white. They are precious in his sight? Not so much. It ran rampant across Italy and Germany and Mexico, North America, along with South American countries, England….Destroying culture, destroying tradition, destroying centuries old beliefs under the threat of death. Violent deaths, burning, hanging, torture, beheadings, slavery, rape, drawn and quartered… To name a few.

Today, right now Evangelicals are white Nationalists. My own extended family believes that Democrats should be killed because they are Satan, demons and the anti-Christ. I don’t FEEL like the Anti-Christ. It would at least be helpful if WE were told that we’re demons. I mean… the things we could do besides wear FOXTROT DELTA TANGO shirts!

It causes me to feel rage and hate. There’s little to no sweet churches who welcome the poor, the hungry, the homeless.  What do those people offer the church? Certainly not money. And Christianity is about money. Period. Fight me in that.  Ya, they can call being gay a sin, why can they? Because there are very few gay people who’d put foot in there. So does the preacher preach against adultery? No. Divorce? No. Lust? No, gossiping? No… And why not… because who the hell would be in those pews if they were getting called out on their sins.  The Christian church hides more sex offenders than a Sex Offenders Anonymous meeting. All you gotta do is say you’re a Christian, become a member, maybe teach the youth group and everyone will believe that you are above reproach. I was molested at five years old by a church pastor who my parents had me call “ Uncle Larry” first it starts out as being friendly then playing chase then tickling here… how about over here ? How about HERE…. 

My youth groups were spin the bottle and truth or dares. They were clickish and gossipy and overcome with the ingrained belief that we were “ better than.”

It is fucking delusional to believe that the Christian religious body itself has ever been anything but violence and a breeding ground for predators. 

Ok… phew. That’s it for today. My blood is boiling! God I want to post “ Uncle Larry’s” last name!
