It’s been a minute…
I’m so busy!!! I’m completely revamping my Etsy store. I’ll be removing some items, I’ve added sections so it’s easy to find exactly what you’re looking for and it’s a lot darker in feel… well, it will be after I get 150 items into their new section. I made a new banner today but I need to tweak it a little to include “ find the beauty in the darkness”
I’ve been curating a ton of new items that will be a perfect fit for the vibe. I’ll still have most of my other jewelry for bread and butter pieces plus I have $3500 in antique china that was my great grandmother’s. And just bought another full 12 setting plus serving bowls for $85 but it’s worth about $3000 for it. These are going to take me ages to stage and photograph them because I think that I’ll be piecing them out. It would be hundreds of dollars to ship entire 12 settings plus all the serving and gravy dishes. People would know that but to wrap and ensure that something so delicate gets there in one piece is VERY difficult if there are a lot of pieces rubbing together no matter how well it’s wrapped. And of course I hit the jackpot at Anthropology! That doesn’t fit my new vibe BUT, bread and butter piece! IYKYK.
The new vintage jewelry pieces are soooooo amazing!!! My adrenaline has been raging! Having been able to buy these pieces for $2-$3 !!!! Seriously, it’s shocking!!!!
Having a lot of fun but also having to teach myself a lot of new things. I like that too but it’s also frustrating sometimes.
And swimming! So much swimming! We went to see Disclosure Day and I guess that because it was so hyped up and always in my FYP that it just didn’t meet my expectations. If you want to see it but haven’t. Don’t. Wait until it’s streaming. I give it a 6/10.
On Wednesday the men folk are going to a baseball game. Rangers vs Angels. My husband grew up loving the Angels. He played baseball his whole life, university scholarship, signed with the Brewers. Then his piece of shit parents blew up his life. Mom left his six year old brother alone with her drunk abusive husband. She had the electricity turned off. Husband had to get out of his contract to raise the brother… and the two bit father of his.
Still loves baseball. He really really wanted a son to play. His dad played pro ball until he was sent to Vietnam. He coached Jo-ry but he lost interest and husband was traveling as Josh was growing up and as you guys know, we were involved with volleyball so Josh became involved with it too and it fit like a glove! Husband was proud that he found the sport for him and wasn’t pressured to keep up the family tradition. I fucking loved volleyball!
Ok… have to run. I’m so tired!
