So I saw this ad on YouTube that left me speechless and that’s where this begins…

It was an ad for an umbrella. This guy was claiming that he made it and then he said… It’s like an abortion, if you need it you can use it and your weekend won’t be ruined.

I mean….  

But that’s not where this stops. I posted about this in the parenting group I’ve belonged to for 32 years. I asked what other people thought about it and... 

This woman that I’ve hated for the entire 32 years, comments that she loved it. Thinks that abortion should be talked about like any other medical procedure. Ok, I’m good with that. I’m pro-choice. Ive had one, I’ve taken someone to get one. I bought my daughter plan an after she was assaulted. 

I hate that women are made the villains in these discussions. But! Not every woman struggled with the choice. Not every woman is upset at all. Not every woman can’t forget or forgive herself decades later or remembers the due date or hopes that child is met by loving grandparents and family. Some women think comparing it to an umbrella is A-OK… Some women use them as birth control. None of my business.

And that’s where this woman, I’ll call Kerry, lands. Then she posts that she works in one of three clinics in the country that perform THIRD TERM ABORTIONS. And she thinks that the option should be there for the choice all the way up to 40 wks… 

I asked her to clarify if we were talking about medical necessity or an actual, oh shit, I’m 38 weeks pregnant and have changed my mind and she replied “ Both”

I immediately go look to see if this is a fact. 

It is a fact. Now, I can’t forgive myself for overhearing that I was “ legally” ( in the state I lived ) over the time limit, could have gone without hearing that. 

But it gets so much worse…

So I was like, wtf? Every time the topic is brought up by republicans the left says that choice isn’t real. Never happens. Lies. Only in the case of medical emergencies. And there I was at 58 years old being told something completely different . I used to volunteer to help women with trauma from having an abortion. I had to stop because, like, what the fuck could I do when feeling the same way, ya know? 

So I made the absolute worst decision and asked her how it’s done.

Two ways…. Now if you have left yet, here’s your last chance..,

1) give the mother something that gives the baby a heart attack and then go in with what amounts to a hand blender and crush the baby into almost a liquid and they suck it out.

2) dilate the mother’s cervix, cause the heart attack, deliver the head and crush it.

Nobody would post in that thread after that. I felt fucking sick and fucking furious that we are straight up lied to. 

I had to prove it to my husband. My son, the politically correct police, said “ there’s a fucking point when it’s not just the mother’s body!” 

I had my last three babies born 2-3 weeks early. And to find out that I could have had an abortion instead, at the same gestational age, fucking blew me away! 

Will I ever be a republican? Not ever. I used to be independent and voted for both. I couldn’t stand Clinton. Did vote for him once. This MAGA shit is too crazy for me to find a happy medium. 

Does this feel like a huge betrayal that had me going around spouting that that shit was a lie? FUCKING A RIGHT IT DOES.

I feel like people have the right to know that info so they can at the very least be educated when discussing the topic, whether you agree or not, at least be informed.

Just gonna take a minute to work through this.

CHICKS CANT HOLD THEIR SMOKE

 That’s what it is…. Got high last night. I rarely… I mean RARELY have anything to do with weed, certainly don’t smoke it. But, it’s a long story that probably shouldn’t be told and I got high. This and that

 I’m really trying to figure out how to get into the whole story about my deep diving into Christianity but, my God, it feels like it’s hard to know where to start and the different points I want to hit on….. I’m getting there… just hold on…. So, I couldn’t get myself to paint. Just had zero interest in it. I let my Etsy shop close , well it’s still technically open but it’s empty. I’ll be starting a new page for art.  What am I doing instead? Plenty! Writing, which is good but I can get supper bored. Look! It’s shiny! Swimming, a lot! Like about three hours per day. My skin tone looks like my dna has changed. Makes my eyes so green though!! Green in the summer and brown in the winter. And!!!!!! I’ve just finished my 50th piece of jewelry and I LOVE IT!!!!
